The Ferrari 512 S Modulo, or Pininfarina Modulo as named by Pilen, was designed by the Pininfarina house (specifically by the designer Paolo Martin) and presented to the public in the automobile room of Ginebra in 1970. It is a unique piece, mostly because of its ultra-futuristic design. It has a very distinct geometric character, given the fact that only one unit was manufactured, of course, painted entirely white, which does not correspond with the dark red that Pilen presents.

The Pininfarina Modulo shared the mechanical elements of the competition Ferrari, with a 4.994cc motor that has 550HP, and it was also very low (it only rode 0.93m/3ft off the ground) and wide (2.04m/6.7ft), with a length of 4.48m (14.7ft). Interestingly, it was built in the old way, with a wooden chassis, the reason for which the final weight was very low, only 900kg (1,980lbs).

The miniature Pilen presented several decades ago has a great sentimental value among collectors today. It is very refined, with the slanted roof cover opening towards the front (of course, without the windshield wipers that the original model has, possibly made to enhance it) which perfectly encase the chassis, as does the opening of the motor cover, with the same 24 holes as the original model.
